The snow fell sideways on the first day of this year’s Armory Show, so among the usual chatter of art talk filling the aisles yesterday, there was plenty of subtle grumbling to be heard from out of towners not entirely enjoying the slush and from gallery owners who felt like the day’s crowd was a bit thinner.
